Residential Window Glass Repair and Crank Replacement -

Oakville, Milton, Mississauga, Burlington and Toronto areas (GTA).

It happens to the best of us.  You go to open the window to let the breeze in, and there is a funny noise and the crank keeps moving, but nothing happens.  Or the kids are outside playing, you are enjoying a well deserved cup of java and the sound of glass breaking is followed by the sound of a golf ball hitting the dining room floor.  Sticky hinges, windows that refuse to lift up to open, even windows that are threatening to fall off their hinges to their death two stories below (True story - check THAT blog post)

When a window is working, we don't think about them.  They are windows, we look out them, enjoy the fresh air from them, and complain when they are dirty.  When they decide to stop working, you need to call us.

Repair Foggy Window Glass

New Glass is installed

Cracked window glass

Cracked curved window

From crank and hinge replacement to thermal unit replacement, to full new windows, we take care of everything.  More often than not, when a window seems like it cannot be repaired, we help homeowners understand that they can not only be repaired, but often can be for a fraction of the cost of a new window.

If you live in the Oakville, Milton, Burlington, Toronto or Mississauga area and have a problem with your windows or window hardware, please give us a call at 289-242-8439.  Better yet, send us an email with the following information:

  1. Size of glass (height x width) in inches.  (no need to be super exact, we will be measuring in exact numbers at a later time)
  2. Style of glass.  Clear, with grids or decorations between the panes, tinted, etc.
  3. Age of home/windows.  If we know the age of the windows, it helps us to know whether to quote for Low-E and Argon Gas, which are common in newer (under 15 years) windows.
  4. Your address / location, and the location of the windows in your home (ie. upper floor).  Also the style of window, fixed or operating (opens and closes).

We can then give you a firm estimate to measure, manufacture, and install a new double paned glass unit so your windows look like new again!

Hi there, I’m located in Mississauga. We moved in to our house 1year ago and our house is about 10 years old. This winter, we noticed that many of our windows have condensation to the point that it leaks inside damaging our baseboards. Is this something you can help us out with? Thanks.

I would like to replace thermal unit / IGU of 7 windows. The house is just over 10 years old. The size of windows is:
    36″ X 48 ” – 1
    24″ X 60″ – 3
    30″ X 48″ – 3

All of them are double pane plane glass. Do you carry these size IGU and what is the approx cost.

    Thank you,

    Hi there,

I live in Mississauga and have a bay window that is almost new but leaks at the top, on the inside of the house every time there is lashing rain hitting the window. Could you help with finding the cause of the leak and rectifying it?

    Thanks

      Michael,
Our typical timelines are one day to measure, 3-5 business days to manufacture the new double paned glass unit, and install in an hour. I will send you an email.

We have two upstairs windows that leak around the bottom when there is heavy rain with severe wind.
Do you do repairs for these sorts of issue-if yes, we would be interested to speak with you.
    Thank you.
