About Us

Lakeshore Home Maintenance in relax mode

Lakeshore Home Maintenance in relax mode

People often ask us what we do. We respond: “We specialize in residential window repairs."

We are homeowners like you. Before we started our business we both had full time jobs and little free time to work on things in our own house.

Over the years, we have built our business on three basic tenets: Getting the job done right, Having the right tools for the job, and showing up on time.
We are competent, we show up and we show up on time, we work hard for reasonable pricing, and we are friendly.
Our window repair list is vast and varied - and many people don't realize that many issues with their windows, can be taken care of with a repair - without the need for all new windows.

  • Repairs to hardware.  Broken Window Cranks are replaced with new hardware.  Broken locks or hinges are replaced with new. Broken hinges that make your window fall off (often in the wind) are replaced.
  • Replacement thermal glass, custom cut and manufactured to your windows specifications are measured and installed.
  • Custom thermal glass (round, curved, triangular) is manufactured to your exact specifications.
  • Repair of rotting wood sills.
  • We work in Mississauga, Oakville, Milton, Burlington and Toronto

Our goal is to help people like us, who love their home, but need help maintaining and taking care of it.

Keith Childerhose and Sarah Taylor live in Oakville with our five children, our fluffy cat Sugar, and our pet lizard (a Nigerian Uromastyx) named Frunobulax. We enjoy hiking and camping in Algonquin, and working on our own renovations in our spare time. Oh yes, and I tweet...so feel free to introduce yourself to @LHMaintenance on Twitter.

We live at Third L ine and Upper Middle area of Oakville. Our fence took a major hit during the windstorm in late Nov 2014. We did a temporary fix to get through the winter but now need to figure out how to repair it.
The posts and panels are mostly intact. would love to get a quote from you to get it fixed.
    Thanks so much
